Physical therapists are experts in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of movement dysfunction. This involves the clinical assessment and treatment of a wide variety of impairments arising from conditions ranging from stroke, Parkinson’s disease, developmental disability, arthritis and amputation, to spinal cord, brain, and musculoskeletal injury.
