Honors Application
Although Honors students generally have at least a high school GPA of 3.75 and an
ACT composite score of 28 (1260 combined Reading and Mathematics SAT score), students
with a 3.5 GPA and a 25 ACT composite (1150 combined SAT score) are encouraged to
apply. We review applications individually and consider your Honors essay, a resume
of school activities and involvement in your community as well as GPA and standardized
test scores.
Even though our Priority Deadline of 11 January 2013 has passed, we will continue to accept and review Honors applications until all spaces have been
filled.
You should receive written notification about the Honors Committee decision (admit, wait, or deny) several weeks after you have submitted your completed Honors application.
Please notify us 419.530.6030 or honors@utoledo.edu if you change your major after you have submitted your Honors application. Changing your major could mean changing your college; we want to make sure that your Honors application goes to the correct College Honors Committee for a decision.
