Directions

The University of Toledo is east of the corner of Secor and Bancroft between Bancroft and Dorr streets to the north and south and between Douglas and Secor to the east and west. Secor road is accessible from I-475 between I-75 and highway 23. Scott Hall is at the northwest corner of the campus. To view maps to The University of Toledo, click here. 

History

Completed in 1935 by the Work Projects Administration, the building first served as the president's home. It also served as the location for faculty residences and sorority suites. The architect who designed Scott House/Hall also designed many of the homes in the Old Orchard and Ottawa Hills areas around the campus. In addition to Philosophy, this building houses the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, and the Humanities Institute.
