BioInfOhio Consortium
BioInfoBio is the Northwest Ohio Consortium on bioinformatics, proteomics and genomics. Partners in this consortium include the University of Toledo (UT) and Bowling Green State University (BGSU).

History
BGSU and the former MCO, jointly applied in 2000 to the Ohio Board of Regents, seeking
to initiate a program in bioinformatics. The University of Toledo joined in 2001.
Strategic funding came from Mercy Healthcare, the Stranahan Foundation, and others.
