We hope you will discover that the Internal Medicine Residency training at the University of Toledo Medical Center represents one of the region's best programs.  Blessed with modern facilities, a broad patient base and superb faculty, we offer both categorical and preliminary medicine tracks.

Our education-oriented medicine program focuses on training the next generation of excellent physicians in a supportive atmosphere. Supervised by renowned faculty, who are easily accessible and excellent bedside teachers, our residents receive what we believe to be a superior experience to all other programs in our region. Our residents are exposed to a variety of medical cases over a diverse patient population. We believe that our objective is to train outstanding internists, to be life long learners. Beyond the solid grounding you will obtain in basic medicine and neurosciences, your access to extensive on-campus research, and cutting edge technology allows those choosing to pursue further subspecialty training to compete without difficulty in national fellowship programs.
