Dosimetry Board Review Course ~  December 9-13, 2013

About the Dosimetry Board Review Course
This course is intended as a review of radiation therapy dosimetry for candidates preparing to take the dosimetry board exam, therapists entering the field of radiation dosimetry, and Jr physicists performing or supervising clinical dosimetry. Students should bring a scientific calculator. CE credits have been applied for through the ASRT and MDCB.

Educational Objectives:
After attending this program, participants should be able to:

• Be prepared to complete successfully the elements of the certifying exam
• Complete common dosimetric mathematical calculations
• Comprehend concepts for conformal plans, IMRT and brachytherapy treatments

Accommodations
The Hotel is situated on the University of Toledo Health Science Campus. The hospital and academic buildings are accessible through a pedestrian tunnel.  The workshop will be held in the Radiation Oncology conference room, Ruppert Health Center, room 0005.
