About the Dosimetry Board Review Course
This course is intended as a review of radiation therapy dosimetry for candidates preparing to take the dosimetry board exam,
therapists entering the field of radiation dosimetry, and Jr physicists performing or supervising clinical dosimetry. Students
should bring a scientific calculator. The ASRT has approved 30.5 credit hours and we have been approved by the MDCB for 12 CEU's.
Educational Objectives:
After attending this program, participants should be able to
- Be prepared to complete successfully the elements of the certifying exam
- Complete common dosimetric mathematical calculations
- Comprehend concepts for conformal plans, IMRT and brachytherapy treatments
