2009 Hampton on the Trail

And they are off ! The beginning of the 2009 Hampton on the Trail.
These walkers seem to be enjoying the nice spring day on the trail.
Even the local wildlife came out to cheer on the participants for this great cause !
The trail run was very difficult, but this runner was able to navigate the terrain with her four-legged friend.
These walkers had a great time and appear happy to be finished.
Coming around the bend to finish in 1st Place Overall:
None other than Dr. Hampton's youngest son Michael !
The top female runner Emma Madison finished in just over 21 minutes.
Even after the event, the volunteers were still all smiles.
