| Why enter the LEC art contest? |
The Lake Erie Center receives numerous visitors throughout the year from conferences, workshops, meetings, evening talks, and Maumee Bay State Park. Your work will be viewed by a number of visitors from a variety of backgrounds, so it is good exposure for winning artists! We usually receive media coverage in the Oregon Press, the Toledo Blade and UT News, and winning entries are often featured in those publications in full color. The winners will receive prizes and an invitation to our awards reception! We welcome all artists and hope you will have a great time creating and submitting your art!
