GK-12 Personnel

Brad Anderson, Glacial Geology
GK-12 Fellow, (2010-2011, partnered with Dave Bourland Bowsher High School)
CV 2010

I earned my B.S. in Geology from Middle Tennessee State University in May of 2009. Wanting to continue my education I enrolled as a graduate student at the University of Toledo. At UT I worked towards my master’s degree in Geology with Dr. Tim Fisher and my research focused on trying to get a better understanding of Northwest Ohio’s glacial history through the analysis of glaciolacustrine sediments. I completed my M.S. degree in August, 2011 and am currently employed a a hydrogeologist with Hull & Associates Inc. in Cincinnati, OH. I appreciate the opportunity given to me to be involved with the GK-12 program and to share my experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm of geology with high school students.  I hope that I helped them to view science and scientific research in a new light and with more curiosity.
