Allison (Allie) Berns currently serves as the assistant director of annual giving for the Health Science Campus. She is tasked with maintaining annual giving needs for the Health Science Campus including the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her responsibilities encompass direct mail campaigns, phonathons, e-philanthropy and face-to-face solicitations. Prior to accepting her role, she served as the annual campaign director for Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo.
Allie is a graduate of The Ohio State University and of the Capital University Law School Paralegal program. She has been involved with many community organizations and currently serves as a board member of the Junior League of Toledo in addition to her membership with the Northwest Ohio chapter of the Association for Fundraising Professionals.
Allie and her husband Dan reside in Sylvania with their son, Rafi and dog, Bruttie. Allie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, is an avid reader and has a passion for assisting others in fulfilling their philanthropic desires.
