Dan was named Major Gifts Officer for Athletics in April 2012. He is responsible for implementing strategies to increase financial support to the Athletic Department and University from high potential prospective donors.
Prior to being named MGO for Athletics, Dan served as Development Specialist for Athletics from 2008-12, managing the Rocket Fund annual giving program and assisting with premium season tickets for all areas. From 2006-08, Dan served as a graduate assistant for Athletic Development.
Dan graduated cum laude from UT in 2005 with a bachelor of business administration degree. He was a four-year letter winner and served as captain on the baseball team for the Rockets. He also holds an MBA and Master of Arts degree from UT. Dan has a younger sister, Leslie, who played on UT’s softball team from 2005-08 setting many UT records.
