Barbara Tartaglia, CFRE
Associate Vice President for Development, Main Campus
Barbara Tartaglia presently serves as Associate Vice President for Development for the Main Campus at The University of Toledo. She returned back to the UT Team after serving from 2008 to 2011 as Associate Vice President & Principal Gifts Officer at The University of Cincinnati Foundation. While at UC, she participated on the Senior Team coordinating their $1Billion Capital Campaign. Barbara’s responsibilities included management of the top 100 prospects and strategic collaboration with College and Unit officers, management of the Department of Prospect Research, and management of UC’s National Team. Under her guidance, the Foundation grew their Volunteer base to 500+ strong and established twelve key Campaign Committees nationally.
Barbara has fifteen years of fund raising experience and was as a part of the UT “The Time Is Now” Campaign where she served as the Principal Gifts Officer for the College of Business & Innovation and Director of the East Coast Region, traveling with UT leadership and key faculty. She is proud alum of UT with an MLS focused in Leadership and Organizational Development. She also holds a CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive). She is sought after as a speaker and has been recognized as a Ten Star Presenter by C.A.S.E. (Council for the Advancement and Support of Education). Barbara brings with her 20+ years of experience in Marketing & Sales and is licensed in the State of Ohio as a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor. She has raised five sons, three of whom are UT Alums!
