    Local Relations

    Purpose

The purpose of The Office of Government Relations-Local Government and Community Relations is to construct working relationships between UT and the city of Toledo and its communities.  The OGR lives out this purpose by meeting with both community members and UT neighbors both to inform them and to listen to their concerns regarding development projects that affect the areas surrounding the university. Additionally, the OGR seeks out opportunities for cooperation and collaboration with local government officials in order to improve Toledo’s economy, quality of life, and delivery of local government services.
