Planning To Attend College . . .
There are millions of dollars that go unspent each year that are set aside for scholarships to assist incoming college students. Much of this funding is earmarked for high school seniors who will be incoming college students. Once they land on the college campus as freshmen, they are no longer eligible to apply for these funds.
The Mentoring Collaborative and the Peer Networking Association support high school students who wish to attend college. This webpage is devoted to resources to help them become successul college students. If you were unable to attend our seminar, here are resources used in that meeting.

Provided are articles and reports on statistical data about why higher education is so critical for your future.
- College grads: $24,000 in debt Student loan debt is on the rise, and fewer graduates are getting jobs to pay back what they borrowed. Article by Blake Ellis, www.cnnmoney.com
- American Council on Education: College Graduation Rates: Behind the Numbers Report by Bryan Cook and Natalie Pullaro
- US Census Report: The Big Payoff: Educational Attainment and Synthetic Estimates of Work-Life Earnings
