Academic Finance

The Office of Academic Finance serves two primary functions:

1. Faculty Affairs

2. Financial Management and Assistance.

Within each function it is our goal to collaborate cross campus and support individuals, departments, colleges, and stakeholders.  

Faculty Affairs

University central location for official faculty file, process faculty pay changes in accordance to contracts and university decisions, intake and process of college changes relative to faculty pay changes, authorizing authority for new faculty hires, approve both Part-Time Instructor and Visiting Faculty paperwork, create Rocket ID number and set up in Banner for all faculty types, Provide University Standard faculty letter or offers, work in partnership with the Office of Faculty Labor Relations, and serve as support to our faculty.

Financial Management and Assistance

This office provides financial management and support to areas within Academic Affairs under the main campus provost. Work closely with VPs, Dean’s and College Business Managers relative to fiscal planning, budgeting, and administration.

This site is a resource for faculty, staff, students, and others who seek information about academic policies and processes. This office works closely with the Office of the President, the Universities Chief Financial Officer, the Chancellor/Provost of the Health Science Campus, Budget Office, Controllers Office, Staff Human Resource Office, and other university core offices. Our goal is to provide key resources, quick access, and to simplify web navigation for faculty resources.
