| Academic Dishonesty | Academic dishonesty will not be tolerated. Among the aims of education are the acquisition of knowledge and development of the skills necessary for success in any profession. Activities inconsistent with these aims will not be permitted. Students are responsible for knowing what constitutes academic dishonesty. If students are uncertain about what constitutes plagiarism or cheating they should seek the instructor's advice. |

| Blackboard | Blackboard is our online course management system. It functions as your virtual classroom. |
| Bookstore | Overview on ordering textbooks. The Faculty Center Network is a resource for faculty to review college-level textbooks and make informed decisions about textbook adoption. WebSpins is a free, email-based service that provides faculty with updated information on new and important books and software in their specialty. |

| Computer Purchase | List of vendor sites and associated computers are approved by IT for University non-bulk computer purchases. Bulk procurement of computing equipment should be made through standard Purchasing processes. |
| Confucius Institute |
The Confucius Institute supports, promotes, and develops Chinese Mandarin language and cultural education in the United States, particularly within the Toledo community. Chinese language classes are open to children, adults, businesses, travelers and anyone interested in China! |
| Faculty Senate mission is to serve the faculty and students, and to investigate, deliberate on, and inform the University Community about any issues pertinent to the University, its students, and its faculty, past, present, or future. | |
| FERPA | Maintaining confidentiality of student records is everyone's responsibility whether you are faculty, staff or student. Annually, The University of Toledo informs students of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended. This Act (formerly known as the Buckley Amendment), which the institution intends to comply with fully, has been designated to protect the privacy of educational records. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) affords students certain rights with respect to their education records. |

| Global Voices - international speakers program |
A campus resource created to encourage cross-cultural dialogue and understanding on the UT Campus. The Center for International Studies and Programs (CISP) recruits international students and scholars to join Global Voices. Participants registered with Global Voices are willing to share their unique experiences and perspectives to UT classes or serve on panel discussions for student groups and organizations. |

The College of Graduate Studies provides leadership for graduate education through exceptional support services for graduate students and faculty; to foster quality in graduate education, research and scholarship; to nurture the diversity and collegiality of graduate programs; and to work with Graduate Council to establish university graduate policies, standards and procedures that define best practices for the graduate programs it serves. |
| Instructional Classroom Support | Provides prompt, quality technical support, consultation and training for the classroom
arena on both the Main and Health Science Campuses. They will assist you promptly,
or make every effort to connect you with the appropriate person or department. Please consider them your one-stop support and facilitator in the classroom. |
| International Institutional Affiliations | Information to assist UT faculty and staff in writing and creating International Institutional Affiliations (IIA) including Letters of Intent and memorandums of understanding (MOU). |
| Libraries | University Libraries... your gateway to information here at the University of Toledo. Our libraries serve students, faculty, and staff on every campus, connecting you with the resources you need for education, research, and patient care. |
| Make-up testing for students | UT Testing Services can assist faculty and students how to schedule a make-up test if a student misses a exam. |
| Learning Ventures | Online classes, Blackboard instruction for faculty and other services related to teaching Web-assisted and online courses |
| OnLine Learning | Learning Ventures, the home of UT online/distance education. Faculty interested in teaching online. |
| The University of Toledo policy web site is a compilation of relevant policy, operational procedures and governing documents of The University of Toledo. The purpose of the policy web site is to ensure faculty, staff, and students have ready access to the policies. | |
| Registrar's Office | Provides faculty grading policies, tentative class exam schedules, and adding/late registration procedures. |
| Student Affairs Office for the Student Experience |
Dean of Students, Campus Involvement-Student have more than 200 student organizations
on campus on UT’s campus and more. The Office for the Student Experience (OSE) is a resource for students' questions, concerns and problems. Rocket Rapid Response is a means by which issues may be raised, considered, and/or resolved. |

Here are specific guidelines the Office of the Provost would like for faculty to include on a course syllabus; faculty are also encouraged to check with his/her department to see if they have any syllabus requirements. |
| Tutoring Services | The Learning Enhancement Center provides all University of Toledo students with accessible, professional academic support services that enhance success and retention. |
| University Catalog | UT catalog provides general information, course descriptions, academic calendar and academic program of study information. |
| Writing Center | The Writing Center at the University of Toledo provides one-to-one assistance to all members of the academic community who want to discuss and improve their writing. As the core of the Writing Across the Curriculum Program, the Writing Center staff also provides the necessary resources which enable faculty to use writing as a means of learning in their content areas. By providing these consulting services to students and faculty, the Writing Center provides key initiatives for improving undergraduate and graduate education. |
