How do I declare or change a major or minor?

To change or add an ARS major or minor:

Submit a Change of Major/Minor form at the Arts and Sciences Student Services office

To change or add a minor offered by another UT college:

Contact that college

To change your major from another college to the College of Arts and Sciences or add a second degree program:

• Make sure you have a UT cumulative GPA of 2.0
• Schedule an appointment with an academic adviser in the Arts and Sciences Student Services office

To add a minor offered by the College of Arts and Sciences:

• Meet with the Faculty Adviser from the department that offers the minor you desire
• Submit a Change of Major/Minor form at the Arts and Sciences Student Services office
