Sharon Speyer (2019)

Sharon Speyer was appointed to the UT Board in 2009 and is currently Chair of the Trusteeship and Governance Committee and a member of the Clinical Affairs Committee.

Speyer is President of the Northwest Ohio Region for Huntington National Bank, a subsidiary of Huntington Bancshares, a $52 billion regional bank holding company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. 

Speyer was most recently president of Sky Bank's Northwest Ohio region and joined Huntington after the September 2007 merger.  She previously served as general counsel for Sky Bank.

Speyer serves on numerous boards and committees including: Imagination Station Board, Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Executive Board, Regional Growth Partnership Board, Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority Board, Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce, Toledo Symphony Board of Trustees, and The University of Toledo Innovation Enterprises Board.

Speyer received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Toledo College of Law after earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from The Ohio State University.
