Brittney M. Brown, Student Trustee (2014)

Brittney Brown was appointed to The University of Toledo Board of Trustees in 2012. As a Student Trustee, she serves on the Finance and Audit Committee.

Ms. Brown is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting and Marketing with a minor in Communications. Since 2011, she has been President of Miniya, a multi-cultural all-women mentoring organization. She is also a University Ambassador, a member of Alpha Kappa Psi the Professional Business Fraternity, and a Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Ohio. 

Ms. Brown has worked previously as a Marketing Intern at Raceway Park and Toledo Public Schools Foundation. She currently is the Assistant Director of Community Work Study through the Office of Service Learning at The University of Toledo.

After graduation, Ms. Brown hopes to work for a public corporation in the accounting area. She plans to pursue her Masters of Science in Accountancy, an MBA in HR Management and become certified as a Public Accountant and Management Accountant.
