Women & Philanthropy at The University of Toledo shares timely issues with our members to keep you up to date news, events and activities.
Women & Philanthropy hosted a reception and meeting on Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Members and guests enjoyed a talk by Tricia Cullop, the Head Women’s Basketball Coach who spoke about her first year as the women’s basketball coach in a newly renovated facility. In addition, members and guests were able to tour the facilities.

“A University Woman”
The first grant awarded by Women & Philanthropy at The University of Toledo was received by the Carlson Library and will be celebrated with the dedication of “A University Woman” Glass Sculpture, created by University of Toledo professor and artist Tom McGlauchlin.

Dedicated Donor"
Edith Rathbun spoke during the dedication of University College’s new tutoring center, the Rathbun Cove, named in honor of the local philanthropist. Rathbun, a longtime supporter of University College, donated more than $90,000 for the project. The Learning Enhancement Center and the Math Learning and Resource Center are located on the lower level of Carlson Library on Main Campus.
