CommUTer Connections
July 17-18, 2012
The purpose of the CommUTer Connections Program is to connect new commuter students with The University of Toledo, and to other new commuter students. The program is packed full of fun and exciting campus activities including a kick-off party at the UT Student Recreation Center, service learning project, and UT’s Amazing Race.
All students will be accommodated overnight at Ottawa West on UT Main Campus. Students must bring comfortable clothing, tennis shoes, toiletries, pillow, towel, bathing suit, and their Rocket Card.
Quote from 2011 Participant:
"It made me feel more confident about starting college in a few weeks" Allison Stickler
Fee: $75; the commUTer connections fee is assessed to the student's account with tuition and other fees for the fall semester. The fee may be covered by excess financial aid. The fee covers all meals, overnight accommodations, Service Learning Project, t-shirt, programming, and more. The fee is non-refundable; students registered for the event that do not attend, will be held responsible for the fee due to expenses incurred.

The deadline to register for the program is June 30, 2012.
The program is limited to 75 new commuter students, and space is available on a first come, first serve basis. Students under the age of 18 at the time of the program will be required to complete a liability waiver form.
