Practice or research specialty/focus of the position: Critical Care Medicine
Position Description: The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy is seeking well-qualified candidates in critical care medicine for a 12-month non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor. A record of scholarship and prior teaching experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing his/her specialty area into an innovative research, teaching and practice model that will contribute to the College’s teaching program and extramural funding base. The practice site is located at The University of Toledo Medical Center.
Required or desired credentials or experience of applicants: PharmD with post graduate residency or fellowship training required. Must be eligible for licensure in Ohio.

Description of institution/organization: The University of Toledo has merged with the Medical University of Ohio. The Department has ASHP-accredited residency programs in critical care, community pharmacy practice, and is seeking accreditation for the PGY1 residency. Degrees conferred include: PharmD, BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Master’s degrees in Pharmacy Administration, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Toxicology.

Practice or research specialty/focus of the position: Social/Administrative Sciences
Position Description: The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy is recruiting for two 12-month tenure track faculty positions, at the Assistant, or Associate Professor level in the Social/Administrative sciences. Successful applicants must have a doctoral degree in Pharmacy Administration or a related discipline and are expected to develop a successful and sustaining research program, commensurate with rank. Research interests in outcomes, pharmacoeconomics, secondary data analysis, epidemiology, or health disparities research are desired.
The successful candidate must collaborate with other faculty in the department in research and to instruction at the undergraduate (PharmD; BSPS) and graduate (MS) level. The candidate will participate as a thesis advisor to students in a research-focused MS program.
The successful candidate will be expected to sustain a viable research program and to enhance the growth of The Pharmaceutical Care and Outcomes Research Laboratory (PCOR) within the division. The PCOR lab has a primary focus on research in Pharmaceutical Care, Outcomes Research, Pharmacoeconomics and Health Disparities. A number of area pharmacies and health care organizations are presently partnered with PCOR in research efforts. The candidate will also be expected to participate in the service mission of the College.
