Alumni Award Nominations

Each year, The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences Alumni Affiliate selects outstanding alumni to honor for their leadership skills and the contributions they have made to the pharmacy or healthcare field. Below is a brief description of the awards. If you know a UT graduate who is doing an exceptional job in his or her field, please take the time to nominate him or her for one of these prestigious awards.

Distinguished Alumnus/a Award

The highest honor and distinction the affiliate bestows on an alumnus/a. The awardee will be recognized for outstanding career achievement in his/her pharmacy or healthcare field — research, teaching, administration, publishing, etc. Consideration will also be given to community, University, and volunteer activities.

Outstanding Young Alumnus/a Award

This award is bestowed by the affiliate to an alumnus/a 40 years of age or younger (BSPS, BS, BSP, PharmD, MS, or PhD). The awardee will display leadership and professional excellence in the pharmacy or healthcare field.

Distinguished Service Award

This award is bestowed by the affiliate to an alumnus/a or non-alumnus/a for contributions to the growth and success of the College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, and/or the College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences Alumni Affiliate or the UT Alumni Association. This recipient will have demonstrated dedication, distinction, innovation, philanthropy and leadership within his/her chosen field.
