| H1N1 Vaccination Project | The College of Pharmacy partnered with the Lucas County Health Department to educate Toledo residents about the H1N1 virus. P4 students administered H1N1 vaccinations. |

Medco sponsored the college's semiannual Starving Student Dinner, a function that allows students to network with Partnership Board professionals in their fields of study. |
| December 2008 Graduation | BSPS, MS and PhD students attended the December graduation dinner on the Health Science Campus. |
| SNPhA Reception | The Student National Phamaceutical Association (SNPhA) Reception on October 31, 2008 honored new officers. Walgreens sponsored the event and awarded the first Walgreens Diversity scholarship to Elaine Boateng. |
| 2008 Homecoming | Alumni and friends Rocked-It Back to UT for the annual Homecoming celebration! |
| 2008 OPA Licensure Ceremony | Students were presented with their licenses to practice pharmacy in the state of Ohio at the October event. |
