The 1.0 hour Radiation Safety Annual Refresher Course is now available online for active Principle Investigators, and their students/lab techs, who have already completed the 3.0 hour initial Radioactive Material (RAM) safety course. The refresher course should be completed one year after the 3.0 hour course and must be taken annually thereafter to maintain an active user status to sustain the privilege to order, possess, and utilize RAM at the University of Toledo. Proof of completion is mandatory and certificates must be made readily available for inspection by Radiation Safety/Ohio Department of Health personnel. The course is located under the MyUT portal. Click on the “Employee” tab and choose the “training test bank” under the Training & Career Development area. You will be prompted to enter your UTAD login information and search for class #224 “Radiation Safety Refresher”. After successfully passing the test, print off the certificate and file it inside the Radiation Safety log book for training records. |
