URAF Programs
| To be eligibile, the PI must be a full-time, tenured or tenure-track faculty member at UT and must be on campus during the full academic year of the award. Faculty on 12-month appointments are not eligible for Summer Fellowships. |
| Summer Fellowship Program: |
Provides up to $12,000 for summer research projects. More Info |
| deArce-Koch Memorial Endowment Fund in Support of Medical Research and Development: |
Provides up to $25,000 for medical research and development projects. More Info |
| Biomedical Research Innovation Awards: |
|
Provides up to $50,000 for high-impact, innovative proposals in biomedical science that have the potential to change the direction of the field. A letter of intent is required. More info. |
| Interdisciplinary Research Initiation Awards: |
Provides up to $100,000 to support groups of at least four faculty from at least two academic departments in beginning a major new interdisciplinary research project. More Info |
| Phase 0 SBIR/STTR Program: |
Provides up to $8,000 for a faculty member to work with an outside business in the preparation of an SBIR/STTR proposal. More Info |
| Visiting Faculty Research Awards: |
Provide up to $5,000 to invite a visiting faculty member into a UT research project for the summer in order to develop inter-institutional collaborations and to help forge stronger ties among undergraduate institutions. More Info |
| Archaeological Research Endowment Fund: |
Provides approximately $2,000 annually to help support archaeological research. More Info |
| Publications Subvention Program: |
Provides up to $1,200 to support the publication of a scholarly manuscript by an academic press. More Info |
