SHBE 5003: Healthcare Information Systems
The course examines, from a healthcare perspective, critical issues in planning and implementing process workflow software such as electronic health record (EHR) applications. It examines salient issues relating to EHR software selection, its benefits and user support. It examines the emerging concepts of Regional Health Information Exchanges. It also provides an overview of Practice Management Systems.
