URMA - Urban and Rural Medical Association

The primary purpose of this organization is to provide students the support to pursue a career in rural or urban medicine, specifically working with the underserved. This will be done through the opportunity for students to take an elective, to present topics that are pertinent to working in underserved areas, to associate with physician mentors in the local community, and participate in site visits and volunteer work with local community health organizations.
