Neuroscience Club

Mission statement
The mission, purpose, and function of the organization is to foster and explore the research and professional interests of the medical and graduate students at the University of Toledo Health Science Campus in the neurological sciences.

 

Membership
Membership is FREE and is open to every medical, graduate, or allied health student in good standing at the University of Toledo Health Science Campus. An annual roster will be established at the first business meeting of the academic year and can be amended throughout the year as needed.

 

Affiliations
Neuroscience Club is affliated with the American Academy of Neurology.

***The Spinal Cord Injury Group is always looking for able-bodied volunteers!  So if you want to be on a contact list to help with any of their events, email josef.froehlich@utoledo.edu, or you can download a volunteer form from the website of the Toledo Raptors wheelchair team.

• Brain Awareness Week Educational Outreach

  During Brain Awareness Week (week of Monday, March 12), Neuroscience Club will team up with Student-to-Student to do an educational outreach to local elementary schools.  The format can include a variety of presentations and cool interactive projects related to neuroscience and depends upon the number of medical students participating.
