Health Science Campus Student Life : Obstetrics/Gynecology Club 

Hello and thank you for your interest in the Ob/Gyn Club!

Obstetrics and gynecology is a diverse, challenging, and rewarding specialty.  It combines medical and surgical skills to address aspects of women's health during the entire reproductive life cycle.

As an OB/Gyn student interest club, we will work to:

1. Gain an understanding of what is involved in a career in Ob/Gyn
2. Learn concepts in women's health issues related to wellness and health maintenance/disease prevention
3. Promote clinical skills in women's health
4. Raise awareness of gender differences in health issues
5. Strengthen interdisciplinary efforts related to women's health projects
6. Increase women's health advocacy within the medical school and the community
7. Promote student participation in the development of the club
8. Offer ACOG and APGO as resources to medical students interested in Ob/Gyn and careers in women's healthcare
