    Student Organizations 
    All of the following organizations are active representations of the students on the HSC campus.

    CGS - Council for Graduate Students
    An organization that meets to discuss issues of interest to health science graduate students and serves as the voice of graduate students.

    MSC - Medical Student Council
    An organization that meets to discuss issues of interest to all medical students and serves as the voice of medical students.

    OSR - Organization of Student Representatives
    The student branch of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and represent the undergraduate medical student body of the U.S. to the academic medicine community.

    SNA - Student Nurse Association
    UT chapter of the Ohio Nursing Students Association and affiliated with the National Student Nurses Association, and includes all nursing students at the UT HSC.

    PHSO - Public Health Student Organization
    A resource page for all prospective students, current students and graduates of the Northwest Ohio Consortium for Public Health (NOCPH).

    SAAAPA - J.D. Michaels Physician Assistant Student Society
    Promote the Physician Assistant (PA) profession within the University of Toledo (UT) and throughout the greater Toledo community.

    SOTA - Student Occupational Therapy Association
    A group of students within the department of occupational therapy seeking to further the professional development.

    SPTO - Student Physical Therapy Organization
    A group of students within the department of physical therapy seeking to raise awareness of the profession.

    ASM - American Society for Microbiology
    Promotes student interaction and interest in Microbiology on campus and to promote student participation in local, state, and national ASM meetings.

    AMA-MSS - American Medical Association - Medical Student Section
    UT chapter of the national AMA organization representing medical professionals dedicated to improving medical education, developing leadership, and promoting activism for the nation's health.

    UT chapter of the national organization for physicians-in-training committed to improving medical training and the nation's health through activism and sponsoring exciting events on campus.

    An organization of women physicians, medical students, and others serving as the unique voice for women's health and the advancement of women in medicine.

    UT chapter of a national organization representing Asian Pacific Islander (API) medical students promoting the health and well-being of the API community.

    CCC - Community Care Clinic
    Delivers convenient, quality health care to the under served populations in the Toledo Community.

    CDC - Campus Democrats Club

    Christian Medical Fellowship
    UT chapter of the national Christian Medical and Dental Association and provides spiritual support to the UT HSC student community.

    Complementary Medicine Club
    Offers students the chance to learn about and experience complementary medicine therapies.

    EM Club - Emergency Medicine Club
    A group of students who are interested in any or all aspects of emergency medicine.

    FPF - Family Practice Forum
    An organization of students and physicians designed to provide access and information on the unique aspects of primary care, and the medical specialty of family practice.

    HA - Humanities Association
    A group of students who are interested in medical humanities.

    IMSA - Islamic Medical Student Association
    UT chapter of the national IMSA provides a unified platform for Muslim physicians, allied health professionals, resident physicians, and students to discuss issues and share ideas relevant to Muslims in North America and around the world.

    IM Club - Internal Medicine Club
    UT chapter of the ACP-ASIM (American College of Physicians - American Society of Internal Medicine) interested a career in internal medicine or in specialties like infectious diseases, nephrology, cardiology, or gastroenterology.

    MSHC - Medical Student Honor Committee
    A group of students that create, maintain, and uphold the medical student honor code.

    MOOSE - Medically Oriented Outdoor Situational Education Club
    Offers medical students the opportunity to pursue involvement in outdoor activities, armed with the knowledge of extreme situational preparedness.

    UT chapter of the national MMSA to develop lines of communication within the military medical student community across the United States.

    Provides opportunities to learn more about mental health issues that affect ALL areas of medical practice.

    Service Club
    Provides ways for the students, faculty and staff of the University of Toledo Health Science Campus to become involved with community service and outreach programs both on and off campus.

    SMM - Students for Medical Missions
    Provides information and possible financial assistance in order to promote participation in medical missions.

    UT chapter of the national SNMA, the nation’s oldest and largest organization representing the needs and concerns of underrepresented minority students.

    S2S - Student to Student
    Provides the opportunity for UT medical and allied health professions students to share their knowledge about a wide variety of health-related topics with local elementary, junior high, and high school students.

    MS4C - Students for Choice
    UT chapter of the national MSFC dedicated to ensuring that women receive the full range of reproductive health care choices.

    A group of students who promote respect and legal protection for each human life at every stage of biological development, from conception until natural death.

    Surgery Club
    Promotes the education of all medical students with an emphasis on the fields of surgery, radiology and anesthesiology, affiliated with the department of surgery.
