Research shows that students who are actively involved on their college campuses tend to get better grades, are more likely to graduate on time and generally enjoy the college experience much more than students who are not involved. With this in mind, the focus of the OSI is to develop, foster and support students as they get connected to UT through out-of-the-class experiences and learning. The OSI staff are committed to providing related support and services through emphasis on learner-centeredness, professionalism and team work. 

Mission Statement: The Office of Student Involvement seeks to build community and is committed to providing students with opportunities for involvement that will enhance and compliment their UT experience. This is achieved through social, educational, and developmental programs and support to help students get connected to campus, discover involvement and leadership opportunities and learn more about campus life.
