Recruitment
Joining a Greek organization is a great way to meet new people on
campus, interact with faculty and staff, and most importantly, to find a home away from home. Joining a Greek organization
is a lifetime
commitment: the collegiate years spent as an active member of the organization are just the beginning! In early September,
both the
National Panhellenic Conference and the Interfraternity Council host their formal recruitment periods. Each gives potential
new members the
opportunity to meet all of the organizations that fall under the council and allows potential new members to go through a
process of choosing
their organization. Chapters falling under the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. and the Greek Independent Board participate
in a more
chapter-specific intake process. Check back at the start of each semester for more recruitment information. To get more
information
on a specific chapter or council, email greeklife@utoledo.edu.
