Steve's Bio
Stephen Hardy works as the Assistant Director Operations & Marketing where he supervises the Student Staff who run the day to day operation of the Student Recreation Center and Health Education Center. He also is in charge of the Marketing for the Office or Recreation and works with Sponsorships.
Steve has been in the recreation and fitness industry for seven years. He was a Graduate Assistant for the Department of Recreational Sports at BGSU for two years earning his Masters of Education in Sport Administration and Recreation. After graduation he took a position as a Facility Manager in the Department of Recreational Sports at Virginia Tech. In the Fall of 2007 Steve was hired on staff at The University of Toledo. Steve is originally from the Toledo area going to Cardinal Stritch High School. He then got his Bachelors’ Degree from Tiffin University in Sports Management where he played four years of Football. Steve currently coaches 8th Grade football at Perrysburg Middle School and works with Toledo Sport & Social Club providing intramural sports and social activities for young professionals in the Toledo Area.
