    Why Join?

S.W.A.T. is a class that is like no other course offered at the University of Toledo. As a group the students are diverse, energetic, fun and dynamic. There is no cookie cutter student on the S.W.A.T. Team. The course material itself is non-traditional and exciting. S.W.A.T. is a great way to add spice to any schedule from any major. Here are just a few of the reasons to sign up for the team.

    • Receive up to three hours of academic credit
    • Be a part of an energetic and motivating team
    • Enhance your leadership skills
    • Become a nationally certified peer educator (That is great for the resume!)
    • Gain valuable experience in public speaking and presentation delivery
    • Great Experience! Great People! Great Fun!
