Science & Technology Corridor
The
Southern Perimeter Science & Technology Corridor was established by the
Board of Trustees of the University of Toledo to provide sites, facilities, and supporting services for biomedical and other enterprises with strong scientific and technical orientations.
Three major goals led to this decision:
- To facilitate the commercialization and adoption of inventions and innovations of the faculty and staff of UT;
- To create an environment where biomedical and other technology-oriented enterprises would enjoy higher levels of creativity, productivity, and efficiency.
- To facilitate the broadening of the economic base and the creation of jobs for Toledo & Northwest Ohio.
