Welcome to the Office of Accessibility
We strive toward creating a welcoming environment abundant with opportunities for all people while being respectful of their beliefs, backgrounds, needs and viewpoints.
What is the Office of Accessibility?
The Office of Accessibility is an office at The University of Toledo that provides support services and accommodations for individuals with disabilities. We coordinate services for individuals with all kinds of disabilities, including students with learning disabilities. These services provide students with an equal opportunity to strive for the college degree of their choice. We understand the multiple challenges a person with a disability faces and we offer our services to help maximize potential and minimize the disability.
With the implementation of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Section 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), comes equal access to education for all students. Our goal is to provide whatever assistance is needed to fulfill the student's educational dream while helping them to develop and maintain independence.
