First Year Opportunities

The UT Learning Collaborative has programs to ensure that our first year students get off on the right foot.

First Year Experience
The University of Toledo implements a number of initiatives to enhance the quality of the first-year experience (FYE) and bolster the success of new students. The “first year experience” ensures that our UT first-year students are supported through the use of peer mentors, orientation classes, service learning, freshman activities, and increased interaction with faculty outside the classroom.

Rocket Orientation
The Office of New Student Orientation Programs facilitates the planning and implementation of Rocket Launch and Rocket Transition, the official orientation programs for new students attending The University of Toledo. 

Testing Services
The University of Toledo has many testing services for the convenience of its students and the community. The Test Centers provides the following services and others:

• Certification & Licensure Tests
• Internet Based Testing
