Once you have applied to UT, there are many important next steps that you will want to complete, click here to see what you should do next. Learn more


Transfer re-admit student? If you are a student who has attended UT previously but has since been somewhere else, you will need to re-apply through the admission office. We will need official transcripts from any institution that you have attended since last attending UT.

UT re-admit student? If you are a student who transferred here and has not gone anywhere else since last attending UT, you will need to contact your academic college in order to be re-admitted to UT. You will not need to reapply as long as you have not attended anywhere else since last being at UT.

Important 2015-16 Dates

  • August 24, 2015 - Fall Semester begins
  • January 1, 2016 - Start filing FAFSA
  • January 11, 2016 - Spring Semester begins
  • May 16, 2016 -  Summer Term 1 begins

10 days prior to the start of each term, UT will stop admitting transfer students with under a 2.0 higher education cumulative GPA

    In order to process your application, UT will need official transcripts from all previous institutions that you have attended and a final official High School transcript.  If you are currently attending somewhere, send a transcript now in order to process your application and then one later at the end of the term.
