Q. Why is it that I do not get a lot of SPAM in my quarantine? |
|
A. This is because IronPort employs an exclusive Context Adaptive Scanning Engine™ (CASE) to examine the complete context of an email message including: content of the message; construction of the message; reputation of the message sender; and reputation of the site from which a message is sent. This technique ensures that SPAM messages are accurately detected and are dropped, thus eliminating false positives. As noted in our previous communication, over 98% of the millions of emails received daily by the UT Enterprise email system are classified as SPAM.
