GK-12 Personnel
Hannah West,
Rainwater HarvestingGK-12 Fellow (Partnered with Wendy Wilson, Start H.S.)

CV-2010
I received my B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Toledo. During my time as an undergrad, I participated in a research project involving rainwater harvesting with one of my professors, Dr. Defne Apul. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to continue my research and pursue my masters in Civil Engineering with a focus on Environmental Engineering. My current research project involves determining the carbon implications and energy emissions of using rainwater to flush toilets and irrigate. I enjoyed my time as a GK-12 fellow. This opportunity has provided me the skills to communicate technical information to a broader audience. I will miss interacting with the high school students as well as the GK-12 staff.
