Tammy Kinsey's Latest News
Tammy has been named a UT College of Arts & Sciences Master Teacher for 2009-2011. Only five teachers at a time are chosen for this biennial distinction. According to the College office, the Dean provides funding for the Master Teachers "for their own research, scholarly or creative activity, and travel. However, it must be emphasized that selection as a Master Teacher is more than an honorary award. The Master Teacher is expected to take an active role in the advancement of innovative teaching, provide advice and counsel on curriculum matters that affect the College, and serve as a mentor to new faculty." Congratulations, Tammy!
