Dr. Zhengzhong Shi graduated in May 2001. His dissertation, Inter-organizational information system use in supply chain: Toward an integration of competence based and transaction cost based views of the firm, was defended in 2001. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Business Information Systems at Charlton College of Business in University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.  He worked in the department of Accounting and Information Systems at the College of Business Administration in North Dakota State University before joining UMass Dartmouth. He received his bachelor’s degree in Process Control in Chemical Engineering and master’s degree in Computer Simulation in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University, China. He has published in Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, International Journal of Information Management, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, International Journal of Applied Management and technology. His research interests include information systems strategy, inter-organizational information systems, IS outsourcing, and business-to-business e-commerce. [Email].
