Lawrence R. Kelley
Lawrence R. Kelley joined The University of Toledo as Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration on Nov. 19, 2015.
As the University’s chief financial officer, Kelley oversees the Office of Finance and its budget and planning, controller, purchasing and treasurer activities of the institution, as well as UT’s facilities and construction, information technology, and public safety operations.
Kelley has more than 30 years experience in higher education finance and accounting. Prior to joining UT, he served as senior vice president for administration and finance and chief financial officer of Cal Poly.
He also has served as treasurer and associate vice president at Georgia State University, chief financial officer at University of Maine, vice president for business and finance at Kent State University, associate vice president for finance and business affairs and associate treasurer at Miami University and budget director at the University of Akron.
Kelley has a master of science degree in technical education with education finance concentration and a bachelor of arts degree in education with a minor in accounting from the University of Akron. He also holds professional diplomas from the Central Association of College and University Business Officers Management Institute and the National Association of College and University Business Officers Executive Leadership Institute.
