Leon Tridle

My brick is in honor of Specialist 4 Leon Tridle, who died in September of 1970 in Tay Ninh, Republic of South Vietnam.  I was his commanding officer in A Battery of the 2nd/32nd field artillery regiment, the Proud Americans.  He was the only soldier who died under my command during my year in Vietnam, so I like to keep his memory alive and his name before the American public so we will think twice about sending young men to wars of dubious necessity such as Vietnam (or currently Iraq).
