Wendy Cochrane received her Bachelor’s degree from Miami University (1990), Master’s degree from The Ohio State University (1994), and Doctoral degree from the University of South Florida (2000). Her graduate degrees are both in school psychology. Wendy has been a classroom teacher, worked on state grants, and practiced as a school psychologist for 3 years. She is state and nationally certified as a school psychologist. Jenny ReynoldsJennifer L. Reynolds, Ph.D., Assistant Professor

Jennifer is a State of Michigan and Nationally Certified School Psychologist, who received two Bachelor’s degrees from Michigan State University, and Master’s and Doctoral degrees in School Psychology from Central Michigan University. Jennifer practiced as a school psychologist, and has worked with children with disabilities in a number of settings (public schools, universities, and multidisciplinary clinics) at the elementary, middle, and high school level, as well as with undergraduate and graduate students. Her current research interests include academic and behavioral interventions at the individual and systems level, intervention efficiency, and comparison of Specific Learning Disability eligibility models. Dr. Joel Sutton is honored to have the opportunity to share his 31 years of experience as a counselor and school psychologist with first year school psychology students as instructor for a variety of courses and with the intern school psychologists as university supervisor. For the past twenty years Dr. Sutton and colleagues developed a public school program for K-12 children with emotional and behavioral challenges that annually resulted in 20% of the students mainstreaming for partial to half days from the  program, significantly decreased the drop out rate and more than doubled the national graduation rate for this northwest Ohio sample of the B/ED population. Employing cognitive-behavioral therapy, social cognitive theory, elements of attachment research,  neuroscience, project-based authentic learning experiences for social skills development, narrative therapy, and consultation theory. Dr. Sutton provided individual and group counseling, psycho-educational assessment, crisis intervention, networking with area counseling agencies, and parent training. As adjunct instructor for ten years for Bowling Green State University he taught life span development to teachers seeking masters degrees in administration and related specialties in education. Current interests include Dr. Marsha Linehan's Dialectical Behavior Therapy,  trauma recovery, applications of neuroscience,  resiliency, and the positive psychology of Dr. Martin Seligman. This fall Dr. Sutton will complete training for the supervision endorsement for the Professional Clinical Counselor license for the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board.
