University of Toledo Retirees
In the past, members of UTRA have had the opportunity to elect Dental and Vision coverage
through the University. These benefits were equivalent to those of active employees
at the University and were an alternative to the benefits available through STRS and
OPERS.
Effective December 31, 2007, the Dental and Vision benefits available through UTRA
are no longer offered. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of the dental and
vision coverage offered through STRS and OPERS. For information on the plans offered
by STRS (for former Faculty members) you may call 1.888.227.7877 and OPERS (for former
Staff) at 1.800.222.7377.
