Career Expo

The UT College of Engineering Career Expo is restricted to UT College of Engineering undergraduate students eligible to seek co-op positions and full-time positions upon graduation. Graduate students and alumni seeking full-time positions may also attend.

This is your opportunity to talk with UT students seeking co-op positions and graduating students seeking full-time employment. Your registration fee will provide you with one 6-foot display table, two chairs and lunch for employer representatives.

Registration Fee: $350.00
Registration Fee Includes: One skirted 6' table, two chairs, lunch for employer representatives and refreshments throughout the afternoon.
If you need to cancel your participation in the Engineering Career Expo, the cancellation deadline is 5:00 pm on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. There is a reimbursement fee of $50 prior to the deadline. If you do not cancel by this date and time, you will not receive a refund for the registration fee.

Company Arrival: Begins at 10:00 a.m.

Career Expo: 12:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Employer lunch: 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Candidate Interviews

Date: Companies outside a 60-mile radius: 
Thursday, September 27, 2018. Companies within a 60-mile radius: Friday, September 28, 2018. 

Time: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Limited space in Nitschke Hall is available for interviewing students on the Thursday and Friday following the Career Expo. Each company may request a maximum of two rooms. However, more space is available during the weeks following the Expo, and we are happy to assist you in scheduling interview space. If you are interested in conducting interviews on campus, please contact Michelle Demski at (419) 530-8050 or via email at Michelle.Demski@UToledo.eduLimited spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.


  • Entrance is at the south end of the building between Nitschke Hall and Nitschke Auditorium. For a map of the engineering complex, visit our website

  • Parking is reserved for you on the day of the event. You will need to identify what company you are with in order to gain entrance to Lot 20 (in front of Nitschke Auditorium). Parking is also reserved for companies returning to interview students on Thursday or Friday following the event.
  • Questions regarding registration and shipment of displays can be directed to Michelle Demski at (419) 530-8050 or via email at
  • Signs will be at your table when you arrive at the Career Expo indicating the following:

    • Company name
    • Whether you are hiring full-time and/or co-op
    • What engineering majors you are interested in
    • U.S. citizens only – yes or no
    • Are you recruiting graduate students: yes or no
    • Your table number

    Please highlight the engineering majors and other criteria on your sign. Highlighters will be provided.

    Engineering student/alumni name badges will have the following information:

    • Name
    • Engineering discipline
    • Alumni/Graduate students will be indicated on name badge
