Lab Facilities
The Paul A Hotmer Family CSTAR(Cyber security Teaming and research) laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art high performance computing
servers drone/robot assembly stations,indoor/outdoor drone testing facility, and a
120” video-wall for drone and data-intensive visualization applications and research.
These are complemented with Linux and Windows workstations and a 3D Projector of VRL
for 3-D visualization, virtual reality and simulation based research. MATLAB, R, Microsoft
Visual Studio, and other programming environments are available in these systems for
matrix computation and data analysis. Other research engagement includes design and
research applications of antennas, drones, embedded systems, and robots, which involve
in-house device assembly at the component level, body area network development and
security, cognitive intrusion detection system, GPS & INS Navigation, and non-GPS
navigation/localization.
