Paratransit is a section within Transit Services dedicated to increasing accessibility on campus by providing individualized rides to people that requires assistance getting around campus. In order to create a pickup schedule, you must first be approved by the office of Academic Access. Instructions for eligibility approval are below
Our paratransit system runs primarily on a fixed weekly schedule that is based around the individual’s class schedule and on campus involvement. Along with a fixed weekly schedule, we also arrange one time pickups to fit a passengers needs if a class changes or they have something extra come up and they need a ride. Paratransit pickups are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. We will need at least 24 hours’ notice of any changes or additions that need to be recorded.

for submission.

- Once it is determined that a student is eligible, rides are then scheduled through UT Transit Services.

UT Paratransit Services does not cater to off-campus sites. This service is only for University of Toledo campuses. The established routes of Transit Services can be used by an paratransit passenger. We have a few buses with wheelchair lifts on them and will make accommodations if a passenger would like to ride one of those routes.
For transportation to and from apartment complexes, restaurants and other destinations not located on a University of Toledo campus or part of an established route, please contact TARPS at 419.382.9901.
